Project 2a is an important study for students to holistically understand the project's context and envision design solutions that are responsive, sustainable, and culturally sensitive. In their tutorial group of about 17-19 pax, students are
required to conduct a site study & analysis, site content and context study and to come up with design responses. Students are required to identify and interpret site characteristics, context & content, and to generate design themes and solutions. The study and findings will then guide the students to create a structure (for the final project P2B) that not only functions
efficiently but also celebrate diversity and fosters a deep connection between people and their environment.
